Ascension of the Lord, Year A: Communion Antiphon

Matthew 28:20

Behold, I am with you always,
even to the end of the age, alleluia.
(Matthew 28:20)

Verse 1:

May God arise; may his enemies be scattered;
may those who hate him flee before him.
(Psalm 68:2)

Verse 2:

Then the just will be glad;
they will rejoice before God;
they will celebrate with great joy.
(Psalm 68:4)

Verse 3:

Sing to God, praise his name;
Rejoice before him whose name is the LORD.
(Psalm 68:5)

Verse 4:

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.
