10th Sunday in Ordinary Time: Entrance Antiphon
Psalm 27:1-2
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life; whom should I dread?
When those who do evil draw near, they stumble and fall.
(Psalm 27:1-2)
Verse 1:
Though an army encamp against me,
my heart would not fear.
(Psalm 27:3)
Verse 2:
There is one thing I ask of the Lord,
only this do I seek:
to live in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life.
(Psalm 27:4)
Verse 3:
I seek to gaze on the beauty of the Lord,
to inquire at his temple.
He hides me under cover of his tent.
(Psalm 27:4-5)
Verse 4:
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.
(Gloria Patri)
