Palm Sunday: Offertory Antiphon

Psalm 69:21-22

My heart expected reproach and misery,
and I looked for one who would grieve together with me,
and I found none;
ad they gave me gall for my food,
and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
(Psalm 69:21-22)

Verse 1:

As for me in my poverty and pain,
let your salvation, O God, raise me up.
(Psalm 69:30)

Verse 2:

I will praise God’s name with a song;
I will glorify him with thanksgiving.
(Psalm 69:31)

Verse 3:

The poor when they see it will be glad,
and God-seeking hearts will revive.
(Psalm 69:33)

Verse 4:

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.
(Gloria Patri)
