12th Sunday in Ordinary Time: Communion Antiphon 2

I am the Good Shepherd,
and I lay down my life for my sheep, says the Lord.
(John 10:11, 15)

Verse 1:

I will extol you, my God and king,
and bless your name forever and ever.
(Psalm 145:1)

Verse 2:

I will bless you day after day,
and praise your name forever and ever.
(Psalm 145:2)

Verse 3:

The Lord is great and highly to be praised;
his greatness cannot be measured.
(Psalm 145:3)

Verse 4:

Age to age shall proclaim your works,
shall declare your mighty deeds.
(Psalm 145:4)

Verse 5:

They will tell of your great glory and splendor,
and recount your wonderful works.
(Psalm 145:5)

Verse 6:

They will speak of your awesome deeds,
recount your greatness and might.
