Psalm 40:2,4
With expectation I have waited for the Lord,
and he had regard to me,
and he heard my prayer,
and he put a new canticle into my mouth,
a hymn of praise to God.

Verse 1:
He set my feet upon a rock,
made my footsteps firm.
(Psalm 40:3)
Verse 2:
How many are the wonders and designs
that you have worked for us,
O Lord my God;
you have no equal.
(Psalm 40:6)
Verse 3:
Your saving help I have not hidden in my heart;
of your faithfulness and salvation I have spoken.
(Psalm 40:11)
Verse 4:
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.
