22nd Sunday of Ordinary Time: Communion Antiphon 1

How great is the goodness, Lord,
that you keep for those who fear you.
(Psalm 31:20)

Verse 1:

In you, O Lord, I take refuge.
Let me never be put to shame.
In your justice, set me free.
(Psalm 31:2)

Verse 2:

Incline your ear to me, and speedily rescue me.
For you are my rock, my stronghold!
(Psalm 31:3-4)

Verse 3:

Into your hands I commend my spirit.
You will redeem me, O Lord, O faithful God.
(Psalm 31:6)

Verse 4:

Let me be glad and rejoice in your mercy,
for you have taken heed of my soul’s distress.
(Psalm 31:8)

Verse 5:

But as for me. I trust in you, O Lord;
I say, “You are my God.”
There in your hands is my lot.
(Psalm 31:15.16)
