Psalm 37:39, 40, 28
I am the salvation of the people, says the Lord.
Should they cry to me in any distress,
I will hear them, and I will be their Lord for ever.

Give ear, my people, to my teaching;
incline your ear to the words of my mouth.

Then he brought forth his people like sheep;
like a flock he led them in the desert.

But he chose the tribe of Judah,
the mountain of Zion which he loves.
And he chose his servant David,
and took him away from the sheepfolds.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
