2nd Sunday of Advent: Offertory Antiphon

Psalm 85:7-8

You will turn us, O God, and restore our life,
and your people shall rejoice in you.
Let us see, O Lord, your mercy,
and grant us your salvation.
(Psalm 85:7-8)

Verse 1:

O Lord, you have favored your land,
and brought back the captives of Jacob.
(Psalm 85:2)

Verse 2:

You forgave the guilt of your people;
mercy and faithfulness have met.
(Psalm 85:3,11)

Verse 3:

Faithfulness shall spring from the earth,
and justice look down from heaven.
(Psalm 85:3,11)

Verse 4:

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.
