2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time: Ofertorio Antiphon
Psalm 66:1-2, 16
Shout with joy to God, all the earth;
sing a psalm to his name.
Come hear, all who fear God,
and I will tell you what great things the Lord has done for my soul.
(Psalm 66:1-2, 16)
Verse 1:
O peoples, bless our God;
let the voice of his praise resound,
of the God who gave life to our souls
and kept our feet from stumbling.
(Psalm 66:8-9)
Verse 2:
Burnt offering I bring to your house;
to you I will pay my vows,
I the vows which my lips have uttered,
which my mouth declared in my distress.
(Psalm 66:13-14)
Verse 3:
Had I considered evil in my heart,
the Lord would not have listened.
But truly God has listened;
he has heeded the voice of my prayer.
(Psalm 66:18-19)
Verse 4:
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.
(Gloria Patri)
