All Saints: Offertory Antiphon

Wisdom 3:1-2, 3

The souls of the just are in the hand of God,
and no torment shall touch them.
They seemed, in view of the foolish, to be dead;
but they are in peace, alleluia.

Verse 1:

Ring out your joy to the Lord, O you just,
for praise is fitting from the upright.
(Psalm 33:1)

Verse 2:

Yes, the Lord’s eyes are on those who fear him,
who hope in his merciful love.
(Psalm 33:18)

Verse 3:

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted;
those whose spirit is crushed he will save.
(Psalm 34:19)

Verse 4:

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.
